As stipulated in the Statutes of the Parliamentary Confederation of the Americas, or COPA, the Executive Committee held a working meeting in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, on May 1st, 2 and 3, 2002, in accordance with the terms of the call to meeting and the program presented in advance by Ms. Laura Pavón Jaramillo, Representative of the National Congress of Mexico and President of COPA.
